The Bower opened its door in September 2005.
It joined the family of the Pogues-related sites though the band features only in some sections: The Pogues Universe focuses on things I had missed at other fan pages (stories behind the Pogues songs, videos and albums, sources of inspiration, curiosities...). Fanfics are a collection of fan fiction, all of it featuring the Pogues, Shane MacGowan or his personal assistant Joey Cashman. Music Photos include some shots of the Pogues as well as bands often mentioned in connection with the Pogues (Flogging Molly, The Dubliners, The Real McKenzies, The Hogs...) and other groups playing Irish-flavoured music. Musi(c)ngs contain personal impressions of live shows of the aforementioned bands.
The rest of the stuff inside the Bower are just fruits of my persistent itch to use a camera and pen, I mean keyboard.
